WHAT IS IT?

ANESTHESIA METHOD
HOW IS IT PERFORMED?
- FUE method(Follicular Unit Extraction): This method is generally preferred as it leaves no scars. Hair follicles are implanted to the bald area one by one. Manual Fue Method takes more time like 2-3 days. With the help of Micro Motor Fue the process is more rapid and it can be completed in 6-8 hours.
- FUT method(Follicular Unit Transplantation): This method is not preferred as it leaves a scar on the back of the neck. In this method, a piece of skin is removed from the hairy part of the back of the head and the follicles are decomposed and transplanted to the hairless area.

- With the help of Micro Motor Fue:6-8 hours
- Manual Fue: 2-3 days
HAIR TRANSPLANT RECOVERY
- After hair transplantation is completed,the area is cleaned,and then covered with an antibiotic cream.The transplantation area is left open.Before going to bed,the bandage should be removed. After removing the bandage, the patient should lie on the back for 2-3 days.
- In the first control, it will be washed and examined, after the third day, the patient will be informed how to wash his hair and how to use the medicine.
- After the hair replacement surgery,a special bandage is put on the area. The patient can leave the hospital 1-2 hours after the operation.
- Generally after 3 days of recovery period at home, the patient can do his daily activities with his head covered. Especially the first 3 days, the area should be protected against strikes and frictions.
- The patient can work in the office after 1 day and after 5 days he can do heavy duties.
- A hat can be worn after 5 days under doctor’s control.
- After 2 weeks, he can swim.
- The patient can lose some of the hair transplanted following the days of the operation. This is quite normal. After this hair loss, the new follicles will form the new look of the patient.
- The hair will cover the skin in 6-8 months and it will be in its best form in 1 year.
WHAT IS THE LIFE SPAN OF THE NEWLY-REPLACED HAIR?
- The hair transplanted with FUE method will not be lost unless the hair removed is healthy.
